Pre-sale tickets available for Grant Junghans Memorial

The biggest and richest one-day event in the history of dirt modified racing will take place Friday, Aug. 19, when fans and the top drivers in the sport converge on the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City for the inaugural Grant Junghans Memorial.

More than $100,000 will be paid out to drivers on this night, including $10,002 to the winner of the United States Modified Touring Series main event.

As part of the Hunt for the USMTS Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental, the Best of the Best in dirt modified racing will be on hand for this epic show, as well as many surprise entries from regional open-wheel favorites to dirt late model superstars.

Save time standing in line that evening by pre-purchasing tickets this week. Call or stop by the office, 9-4 everyday, or stop by the red trailer this Friday. All seats are general admission, but you will avoid the ticket booth lines. Track phone is 913-299-9206.

STARTING TIMES: Pits open at 4:30. Spectator gates open at 5:00. Drivers meeting is at 6:45. Hot laps start at 7:00.Racing begins at 7:30.

GRANDSTANDS: General admission seating is $20 for adults, $8 for kids ages 7-12 and children ages 6 and under get in for free.

TERRACE: Admission is $23 for adults, $10 for kids ages 7-12 and children ages 6 and under get in for free. Must have terrace voucher to purchase terrace ticket.

SUITES: Admission is $30 for ages13 and up and $10 for kids ages 2-12.

PITS: Pit passes are $35 for ages 7+ and $10 for 6 and under.
