Lakeside Speedway is located at Exit 18 off I-435 in Kansas City, Kansas.
To all drivers desiring to compete in the first annual USRA Nationals at Lakeside Speedway in the Hobby Stock, Stock Car, B Mod, or A Mod classes all that is required to compete is complete the registration, pay the pit fees, and have a USRA license and legal USRA racecar. There is no minimum race amount required to compete. Temporary license are not available. Stock cars competing under the transitional rules are allowed to register and compete provided they meet the USRA rules or transitional rules. In 2015 all Stock Cars must meet the complete USRA rules.

"Race Fans Update: Lakeside Speedway is aware that the State of Kansas has recently passed open carry legislation (K.S.A. 12-16,124) that will take effect on 07/01/2014. Lakeside Speedway currently bans conceal carry on the property and with the implementation of this new law we will be posting official Kansas State signage (link provided below) that ban both concealed carry and open carry while at Lakeside Speedway.
